答：一個合格的教師必須具備教師職業活動的各種心理素質，以自己優秀的心理素質去塑造新一代的心靈，出色地完成教書育人的任務。
首先，教師要有教師的職業意識素質，要對自身從事教育實踐的認識、情感、意志、態度等心理活動有所知覺。這主要指教師要具備明確的教育指導思想、創新意識和奉獻意識。
其次，教師要有教師的職業情感素質。教師崇高的職業情感是推動積極工作的強大力量。是搞好教育教學工作的重要前提條件。教師的職業情感，主要包括熱愛教育事業和熱愛學生兩個方面。

答：各種教學方法總起來說，以它們指導思想的不同，可歸并為兩大類：啟發式和注入式。這是兩種根本對立的方法。
啟發式是指教師把學生作為教學中的學習活動的主體，重視并善于培養和激發學生學習
的動機，使之對學習產生濃厚的興趣并增強學習的意志，充分調動學生學習的主動性;通過教師的啟發、誘導、提示、點撥，使學生積極地動腦、動口、動手，能舉一反三，從而培養學生的思維能力和探索創造精神。
注入式是一種“填鴨式”的教學方法。教師在教學過程中，不考慮學生認識過程的客觀規律及他們的理解能力和認識水平，視學生為“容器”，把知識理論灌輸給學生，使學生處于被動的接受地位，機械地呆讀死記，“食而不化”。
“啟發式”和“注入式”的區別不在于課堂教學中教師講授多少，提問與否，及占用課堂時間的長短，而在于教師在教學中是否把學生放在了主體的地位，是否使學生主動、積極地進行思考。前者有利于學生的發展，后者則不利于學生的發展，甚至起到了阻礙學生發展的作用。教學只有廢除注入式，采用啟發式，才能收到切實的效果。
